After the dissappointment of the first scheduled date of the tour being cancelled (due to snow), we were raring to go for the next few stops.

First it was north, to the Yorkshire town of Huddersfield - and an early start of 6am saw the team travel up the quiet motorways to the Grace centre - the pretty newly aquired building of the Elim church in Huddersfield. This great new buidling and hospitable team provided a great environment for those who had travelled to the event.

Youth workers from as far afield as Blackpool, Liverpool, Grimsby and Leeds had made the journey and given up a precious Saturday to be inspired about prayer.

The following week, the event travelled even further North to Scotland and after 9 hours of travel, the team arrived at what we think may be the worst travel lodge in the UK. Still, we all managed to sleep before continuing our journey another hour across to Livingston for the event itself.

Scotland only has 22 Elim churches but they are spread out over a massive geographical location - more than half of these churches were represented by the youth workers and their teams and it was exciting to see the sense of community that was present throughout the day.

Throughout both days Mark Pugh spoke on 'Rhythms of Prayer', Dom & Sarah spoke about 'how to set up 24/7 prayer rooms', Mark introduced the concept of 'iPrayer' - a soon to be released 'on line personal prayer diary' before concluding with a time of seeking God and worshipping him.

Mike Humphries and Dom John manage to fit some sightseeing in on the Scotland leg of the tour.....
